Comfort Hotel Tokyo Kanda

Very clean, bed was comfortable, staff were always friendly (some miscommunications at time due to language barrier, but nothing too bad). Kanda is a very good location if you’re planning to do a lot of things in Tokyo. 1 stop to Tokyo Station for Shinkansen, 3 stops to Shinjuku, I think 20-25 mins to Shibuya. Walking distance to Akihabara. The hotel is very close to one 7/11, but a number of convenience stores and restaurants located near the station, which is only a short walk away. Washing machine and dryer simple to use. Breakfast was nice and had a decent range.

We chose this hotel for its great location (7 mins from Kanda Station, which is one stop from Tokyo Station). There were plenty of restaurants around and two 7-Eleven nearby, which provided all the snacks. The room was compact but big enough to fit all our things, and I liked that the we could open the window to the inner courtyard. The bathroom was quite small, but this is Japan, so I'm surprised when people complain about this. The staff were absolutely wonderful - very kind and friendly, and went out of their way to help us. I was very impressed by the daily cleaning service (optional) and the fresh towels we got every day.

We had a great 4 night stay here. Location is excellent, 5 min flat walk to Kanda station, a very convenient station on multiple lines and just one stop from Tokyo central station. The hotel location is very quiet. The room was compact - small by western standards but big enough if you are out sight seeing all day and just sleep there. The included breakfast is great, with western and asian choices. You have to specify a timeslot for breakfast but that all works well. The staff are super polite and helpful, and speak enough English to get by. Comfort Hotels are a chain and you know what you are going to get when you stay at one of their hotels - a clean and comfortable room with breakfast for a very reasonable price. I'll definitely stay there again if/ when we get back to Tokyo.

The staff were very courteous and friendly. It felt as if we were living with a host family.

Breakfast was small but fulfilling. Location is calm and near Kanda train station. Staff we discussed with was extremely helpful and kind. Room was clean and provided with amenities. Option to buy late check-out which was helpful.
